1. Introduction

This website and the services provided through it are owned and operated by Destination People Ltd, registered in Ireland with its principal place of business at Cartown Road, Sandpit, Termonfeckin, Louth, A92 ND76, Ireland.

2. How Destination People Ltd Works with Clients

Hours of Work

Our standard hours of business are Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 6:00pm, excluding weekends and public holidays.

We aim to respond to all email and website enquiries within 48 hours (business days). Correspondence received via social media or other platforms will also be acknowledged and replied to within this timeframe.

3. Description of Services

Destination People Ltd provides professional consultancy, recruitment, and training services to individuals and organisations.
Services may be delivered virtually or in person, depending on client requirements and contractual agreement.

Specific deliverables, timelines, and fees will be confirmed in the written proposal or agreement issued to the client prior to commencement.

 

4. Payment of Fees

Payment terms and schedules are agreed at the time of contract and will be clearly stated in the invoice or service agreement.

  • All fees are payable within [e.g. 14 or 30] days of the invoice date unless otherwise agreed.

  • Late payments may result in the suspension of ongoing work and may incur statutory interest or administrative fees in accordance with Irish law.

  • Ownership of all materials or deliverables remains with Destination People Ltd until full payment has been received.

 

5. Cancellations and Termination

 

Cancellations

If you need to cancel or reschedule a session or engagement, we require at least 24 hours’ notice.
Failure to do so may result in the session being charged in full.

 

Termination

Either party may terminate the contract with 48 hours’ written notice if the working relationship has broken down or objectives can no longer be met.
All outstanding fees for work completed up to the termination date will remain payable.

Destination People Ltd reserves the right to withdraw from a contract if the client fails to cooperate, breaches confidentiality, or behaves in a manner that compromises professional standards.

 

6. Storage and Retention of Client Data

We respect confidentiality, privacy, and data protection in all our operations.

  • Client data and notes are retained for a period of two (2) years following the end of a contract, unless otherwise required by law.

  • Where recordings or session materials are stored in a secure client portal, clients will have 30 days after contract completion to download copies before they are permanently deleted.

  • Clients may request access to their records at any time by submitting a Data Subject Access Request to: [email protected]

All personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on our website.

 

7. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property, including but not limited to written materials, digital resources, designs, and content developed by Destination People Ltd, remains the sole property of Destination People Ltd.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or share any materials provided to you without our express written consent.

From time to time, we may use anonymised examples or case studies for educational or promotional purposes. No identifiable client information will be shared without explicit permission.

 

8. Speaker Engagements and Events

If Destination People Ltd is engaged for a speaking or training event:

  • The content created for the event remains the intellectual property of Destination People Ltd.

  • Recordings or reproductions of the event may not be made without prior written approval.

  • Approved recordings may be shared internally (e.g., via an organisation’s intranet) but not externally without our consent.

  • We reserve the right to publicise our participation in events across our official communication channels.

 

9. Indemnification, Liability, and Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • Destination People Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including but not limited to loss of profit, data, goodwill, or business opportunity.

  • Our total liability, whether arising in contract, tort, negligence, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific services in question.

  • Clients agree to indemnify and hold harmless Destination People Ltd from any claims, losses, or damages arising from their use of our website, services, or materials in a manner not authorised by these Terms.

 

10. Errors, Inaccuracies, and Omissions

While we strive for accuracy, our website or published materials may occasionally contain typographical errors or omissions.
We reserve the right to correct any such issues and update content or pricing without notice.

 

11. Refunds and Returns

Refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis in accordance with Irish and EU consumer protection law.
Clients are encouraged to contact us promptly if they believe there is a defect or issue with the services provided.

 

12. Social Media and Communications

Engagements via social media platforms are subject to the terms and privacy policies of those platforms.
Clients are advised not to share confidential or sensitive information via public or social channels.
Destination People Ltd will never request private data through social media.
